Sirloin steak with peas, carrots and potatoes

  • 4-8 small chat potatoes
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • 1 (250g) sirloin steak
  • 1 (50ml) Gravox Mushroom Sauce Tub
  • 500g frozen peas & carrots, cooked


  1. Place potatoes in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Cover and bring to the boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, partially covered, for 10 to 15 minutes or until tender. Drain. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  1. Preheat oven to 220°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place potatoes in a single layer on tray. Spray with oil. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until crisp.
  1. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium/high heat. Spray both sides of the steak with oil and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes each side for medium or until cooked to your liking. Remove to a plate and cover with foil for 5 minutes.
  1. Spoon cooked peas and carrots onto plates and top with steak. Place finishing sauce tub in microwave for 20-25 seconds. Once ready, pour over finishing sauce. Serve with potatoes.
